Ex-Tropical Cyclone Marcus sits off the west coast of WA and is responsible for
brining an extensive area of middle level cloud to the Southwest Land Division
of WA.

Further east, a complex area of low pressure to the south of Tasmania in
combination with a trough and a cold front is responsible for the extensive
cloud band with embedded thunderstorms through New South Wales. This is also
dragging a cold air mass and low cloud up over Tasmania and Victoria in its
wake.

To the north, Ex-Tropical Cyclone "Nora" has moved over the Cape York Peninsula
bringing extensive cloud cover for northern
