A slow moving low over the Coral Sea is directing fresh to strong southeasterly
winds with showers to the central and southern Queensland coast. Shower and
isolated thunderstorm activity continues over northern parts of Australia due to
a broad low pressure trough. High level cloud is visible through central
Australia due to a jetstream.
Further south, a cold front is crossing Tasmania while patchy low cloud is
present about the southern Australia coast due to onshore winds combining with a
ridge of high pressure.
The remainder of Australia is mostly clear.
