Thunderstorms can be seen near Tropical Cyclone "Iris", which is currently
located off the Queensland central coast. Bands of middle and high level cloud
are streaming away from the Tropical Cyclone over the southern Coral Sea.

A low pressure trough across the north of the country is triggering isolated
thunderstorms over the Cape York Peninsula and NT Top End. While an upper trough
is triggering isolated thunderstorms near the NSW Central Coast.

Low cloud over Tasmania, southwest WA and also about the SA and Victorian coast
is due to a light onshore airstream
